Machinist
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Machinist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manual and CNC machines to produce high-quality parts to exact specifications. If you take pride in precision work, enjoy solving mechanical challenges, and like being part of a hardworking crew, we’d like to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.).
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with other machinists to ensure production goals are met.
Follow safety procedures and shop protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a machinist (CNC and/or manual)
Strong understanding of machining principles and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection techniques
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and a team-first attitude
